https://kusite.weebly.com/access-vba-code-examples-download.html. First, review this introductory article: Create a bootable installer for macOS. Second, see this How To outline for creating a bootable El Capitan installer. Simply replace the Terminal command with the one from the preceding article by copying it into the Terminal window. You will need an 8GB or larger USB flash drive that has been partitioned and formatted for use with OS X.
Drive Partition and Format
A helpful command line tool called hdiutil is included in Mac OS X that allows disk image files (.dmg extension) to be mounted directly from the Terminal, without the need of using the GUI. I want to install a dmg file on a remote server. All I have is an ssh access. Since a DMG is a disk image, I tried to mount it, but mount does not seem to recognize its format. This is a command line tutorial primarily conducted in in the OS X command line. Because of OSX’s unix heritage, much of the info here is also useful in other unix inspired systems, like the Linux command line. The command line can be a scary place when you first encounter it.
- Open Disk Utility in the Utilities' folder.
- After Disk Utility loads select the drive (out-dented entry with the mfg.'s ID and size) from the side list.
- Click on the Erase tab in the Disk Utility toolbar. Name the drive, 'MyVolume'. <---- IMPORTANT!
- In the drop down panel set the partition scheme to GUID. Set the Format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.)
- Click on the Apply button and wait for the Done button to activate. When it does click on it.
- Quit Disk Utility.
Create Installer
Open the Terminal in the Utilities' folder. Choose the appropriate command line (in red) depending upon what OS X installer you want. Paste that entire command line from below at the Terminal's prompt:
Tar, (short for tape archiver), is a versital tool that can be used for archiving files to disk or any other device as easily as tape. In fact, if you don't work in a data center, you will probably never use tar with a tape drive. I have a.dmg MacOS package (with 'continue' buttons, EULA etc) that i need to install on multiple computers. Is it a way to do so silently via a bash/python/ruby/etc script just like silent MSI.

Press RETURN. You will be asked for your admin password. It will not echo to the Terminal window. Then press RETURN again. Wait for the return of the Terminal prompt signifying the process has completed. It takes quite some time to finish. Be patient.

Tar, (short for tape archiver), is a versital tool that can be used for archiving files to disk or any other device as easily as tape. In fact, if you don't work in a data center, you will probably never use tar with a tape drive.Often, Unix/BSD/Linux files and source code are distributed in a zipped tar file, sometimes called a tarball. Extensions for tarballs are usually .tgz or .tar.gz (gz because it was compressed using gzip, the free GNU zip program). Rarely, you may run across a tar file that is not compressed and has an extension of simply .tar.
Here are some common uses for tar. If you pass a directory or a wildcard to tar, it will include all subdirectories in the tar file by default.
